Risk That Makes a Difference

Risk mitigation is an amazing opportunity to embrace life. I often teach that risk is like a huge red spinning ball whose orbit changes with life’s circumstances in a productive way.

My risk story includes extensive experience as an educator and risk professional, bringing together folks from all walks of life to strategically capitalize on the opportunities risk brings. I assisted in designing the resurgence of the PRIMA Institute for risk professionals, which is nationally recognized for its standards of excellence. Additionally, I’ve created podcasts, webinars, written programming, and classroom sessions on a variety of risk-related topics, including construction, emergency management, contractual relationships, safety, and legislation. Throw in a few movies and a great many special events, and call it a wonderful risk journey through the trials and tribulations of life.

Risk is embracing the reality of life and business and finding a balance between the two.
